People are starting to notice its potential for many different uses. Due to its good bactericidal performance and no environmental pollution, this product has been widely used in developed countries, but there are few related research reports in China. This paper looks at how well DBNPA and CIO2 can kill bacteria in sewage treatment by doing some experiments. It shows that DBNPA works really well at this, giving useful info for using DBNPA in water treatment.
1.1 Bactericidal test results of different concentrations of DBNPA in sewage
The total number of bacteria in the sewage sample solution and its added DBNPA solution of different concentrations were detected after 1, 2, 3, and 24 hours, respectively. The results are shown in Table 1. The bactericidal efficiency of DBNPA solutions of different concentrations on bacteria in sewage is listed in Table 2.

1.2 Results of sterilization test of different concentrations of ClO2 in sewage
The same sewage samples as those used in the DBNPA sterilization test were selected and treated in the same way. The original sewage sample solution and the solution were added with different concentrations of Cl0. After being placed for 1, 2, 3, and 24 hours, the total number of bacteria was detected. The results are shown in Table 3. The sterilization efficiency of different concentrations of ClO2 solution on bacteria in sewage is listed in Table 4.

1.3 Analysis and comparison of the sterilization activity of the two sterilizers
The sterilization test results showed a few key points:
(1)DBNPA solution works really well at low concentrations. Once you go above 20×10-6, there’s not much change in its effectiveness. In fact, after 2 hours, solutions with more than 20×10-6 reach over 99% in sterilization.
(2) The best results come 2 hours after using DBNPA, and it can keep working for at least 24 hours.
(3) DBNPA does a better job at killing bacteria compared to ClO2. Moreover, DBNPA, as an antibacterial agent, has no irritating odor, is easy to degrade, has no residue or residual toxicity after use, and does not pollute water quality. These properties are better than the irritating and corrosive ClO2, and are in line with the development trend of environmentally friendly antibacterial agents and water treatment agents. Therefore, DBNPA has great application potential in sewage treatment as a water treatment agent.
Conclusion
The test results indicate that a DBNPA solution is really effective at killing bacteria, even at low concentrations. It stays effective for at least 24 hours and works better than ClO2. After two hours, a DBNPA solution with a concentration over 20×10-6 has a kill rate of more than 99%. In particular, DBNPA is used as an antibacterial agent with no irritating odor, no residue or residual toxicity after use, and no environmental pollution. It conforms to the development trend of environmentally friendly antibacterial agents and water treatment agents, and is an ideal environmentally friendly antibacterial agent and water treatment agent. It will have broad application prospects and market promotion value when used in sewage purification, cooling water sterilization and deviscous water treatment and other water treatments.
