- Sinochem Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) is a thinner for epoxy resins, lacquers and adhesives, as well as polyester resins used in fiberglass repair.
- Used as cellulose acetate, acrylic resin, alkyd resin, paint, ink solvent, dye binder, lubricant dewaxing agent, vulcanization accelerator, etc.
- Used as a reagent for the determination of cadmium, copper and mercury, chromatographic analysis standard material and solvent for semiconductor lithography
- GB 2760-96 specifies the permissible use of edible spices. Mainly used to prepare cheese, coffee and banana flavor. Can also be used as extraction solvent.
- Mainly used as a solvent, such as for lubricating oil dewaxing, coating industry and a variety of resin solvents, vegetable oil extraction process and refining process azeotrope distillation, its advantages are strong solubility, volatility is lower than acetone, belongs to the boiling point ketone solvent.
