Solubility: It is miscible with water and various organic solvents.
Properties: Colorless, transparent liquid, flammable, its vapor can form explosive mixture with air, and there is a danger of combustion and explosion when exposed to open flame, high heat or contact with oxidants. It can dissolve some inorganic salts, such as silver nitrate, lithium nitrate and magnesium bromide. It can dissolve many unsaturated hydrocarbons, but not saturated hydrocarbons. It can react strongly with oxidants to form explosive mixtures.
Storage: Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. The storage temperature should not exceed 37°C. Keep the container sealed. Store separately from oxidants, reducing agents, acids, alkalis, flammable (explosive) substances and edible chemicals. Do not store them together. Use explosion-proof lighting and ventilation facilities. Do not use mechanical equipment and tools that are prone to sparks. The storage area should be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment and appropriate containment materials.
Safety Protection: Keep away from fire, heat sources, flammable and combustible materials, and avoid direct sunlight. Avoid mixed storage and transportation with oxidants, reducing agents, acids, and alkalis. The warehouse temperature should not exceed 30℃.
