Polyacrylamide is an important water-soluble polymer with numerous valuable properties, including flocculation, thickening, shear resistance, drag reduction, and dispersion. These properties vary depending on the derivative ion. Therefore, it is widely used in sectors such as oil extraction, mineral processing, coal washing, metallurgy, chemicals, papermaking, textiles, sugar production, pharmaceuticals, environmental protection, building materials, and agricultural production.
Instructions for Use: Granular polyacrylamide flocculants cannot be added directly to wastewater. They must first be dissolved in water before use, and the resulting aqueous solution can then be used to treat the wastewater. Granular polymers can be dissolved in ordinary tap water. Strong acids, strong bases, or high-salt water should not be used. Room temperature water is sufficient; heating is generally not necessary. Dissolution is very slow below 5°C. Increasing the water temperature accelerates dissolution, but temperatures exceeding 40°C will accelerate polymer degradation, affecting performance. The recommended concentration of the polymer solution is 0.1%-0.3%, meaning 1-3g of polymer powder per 1 liter of water.
