Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: What is Choline Chloride?
A: Choline Chloride (CAS No. 67-48-1) is a mass-produced organic compound and a member of the B-complex vitamin family. Industrially, it serves as a critical mass-volume feed additive, predominantly offered in 60% Corn Cob Base (Powder) and 70%/75% Liquid Grade to promote growth and prevent fatty liver syndrome in poultry, swine, and aquaculture. Q: Is Choline Chloride classified as a vitamin in commercial feed formulations? A: Historically referred to as Vitamin B4, choline is chemically classified as a vitamin-like essential nutrient. Unlike trace vitamins, it is required by animals in much larger microscopic quantities. Our feed-grade Choline Chloride complies fully with global feed safety standards (such as FAMI-QS/ISO) to ensure seamless integration into premixes.
