Solubility: It is miscible with chlorine and most negative, cationic and non-ionic surfactants.
Properties: CMIT-MIT bactericidal effect is achieved by disrupting the bond between bacterial and algal proteins. Upon contact with microorganisms, isothiazolinones rapidly inhibit their growth, leading to their death. Isothiazolinones have potent inhibitory and biocidal effects against common bacteria, fungi, and algae, offering advantages such as high biocidal efficiency, good degradability, no residue, safe operation, good compatibility, excellent stability, and low operating costs. Isothiazolinones can be used in combination with chlorine and most cationic, anionic, and nonionic surfactants. At high doses, they exhibit excellent biosludge stripping effects.
Usage: When isothiazolinone type 2 products are used as slime strippers, the concentration is 150-300 mg/L; when used as fungicides, they are added every 3-7 days, with a dosage of 80~100 mg/L. It can be used simultaneously with oxidizing fungicides such as chlorine, but cannot be used in cooling water systems containing sulfides. The combined use of isothiazolinone quaternary ammonium salts has better results.

Storage: Store at low temperature, keep ventilated and dry
Safety protection: The CMIT-MIT mixture is corrosive. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Handlers should wear protective goggles and rubber gloves. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. In case of skin contact, immediately remove contaminated clothing and shoes and rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Apply urea acetate or burn ointment to the affected area and seek medical attention immediately.
