Appearance: Colorless to light yellow liquid with an unpleasant, garlic-like odor.
Solubility: Insoluble in water, can be miscible with ethanol, ether, acetic acid
Preparation: Produced by the reaction of dimethyl sulfate with sodium disulfide. Sulfur powder is added to a sodium sulfide solution under stirring, heated to 80-90°C for reaction, and then cooled to approximately 30°C. Dimethyl sulfate is added dropwise to the reaction kettle and the reaction is continued for 2 hours. The solution is then distilled and allowed to stand for separation. The waste lye is then separated and distilled again to obtain the finished product.
Package: 200 kg net weight iron drum, 20-23 cubic meters container.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place in a sealed container. Avoid moisture and humidity. Keep away from oxidizing agents, reducing agents, and strong alkalis.
Safety protection: It may cause damage to the central nervous system, but has low toxicity. Operators should wear protective equipment.
