DMTDA Applications
1. It is a new liquid curing agent for polyurethane elastomers, widely used in polyurethane castings, coatings, RIM, SPUA, polyurethane tires, and adhesives for chain extension and crosslinking. It also serves as a curing agent for epoxy resins.
2. As a hardener, it must be added to TDI and MTDI-based two-component polyurethane elastomers at a rate of 10%. In the construction and civil engineering industries, it is often used as an additive in fire-retardant coatings (roof and sidewalls) and metal corrosion protection (chemical book coatings on the inner wall of iron pipes). The polyurethane product produced by reacting with other substances without any treatment is superior to that produced by MOCA (Mocha) hardeners.
3. It is used in polyurethane printing squeegees, oil pipe cleaning scrapers, etc., improving the oil resistance of polyurethane and reducing its volume expansion rate.
4. It is widely used in construction, coal mining, metal mining, medicine, stamping, and other fields. It also has extensive applications in the textile, papermaking, and printing industries.
