It is a viscous dark brown liquid with a 50% active solution concentration, fully soluble in water and methanol.

Properties:
1. Hydroxy phosphonoacetic acid is chemically stable, hard to hydrolyze, hard to be destroyed by acid or alkali, safe in use, and has no toxicity and pollution. In addition, it can improve zinc solubility. It performs better than commonly used phosphonates like HEDP and EDTMP (5~8 times better).
2. Sometimes Hydroxy phosphonoacetic acid can even replace molybdate and its derivatives. The good efficiency at low concentrations enables it, usually used at the PPM level. Hydroxy phosphonoacetic acid is water-soluble and can increase Zn solubility. Its effect can be further improved when built with Zn salts or polymer.
Usage: The organic corrosion inhibitors of which Hydroxy phosphonoacetic acid combines with low molecular weight polymer have excellent performance. When built with zinc salt, the effect is even better.

Keep separated from strong alkalis, nitrites, or sulfites.

Note: During long-term storage, the container may release small amounts of CO2 due to trace impurities; ensure the pressure is released regularly.
Safety protection:HPAA is acidic. Operators should wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), including acid-resistant gloves and safety goggles. In case of accidental contact, flush the affected area with plenty of water immediately and seek medical advice if necessary.
