Solubility: Slightly soluble in cold water, easily soluble in hot water, ethanol, ether and acetone, soluble in hot benzene.
Properties: White needle-shaped crystals or monoclinic prisms, with a pungent smell. Flammable. Stable in the air, but gradually changes color when exposed to light. Slightly soluble in water, soluble in acetone, turpentine, ethanol, ether, benzene and chloroform, and its aqueous solution reacts acidically.

Storage:Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire, heat sources, and direct sunlight. Must be stored separately from oxidants.
